ADDRESS BOOKS
Mainly
since the second half of the 19th century up to this day we have address
books. The frame is almost the same. People were (and they still are) separated
aplhabeticaly, in virtue of their occupation or dwelling place.
For example:

it means:
* = house-possessor
zast. = zastupce = exponent
m. = manzelka = wife
Vrsovice = Prague district
Okrouhla 57 = Okrouhla street, the house # 57
t = telefon = phone
